Molly McFarland

Marketing & Media Executive

Entertainment - Men’s Lifestyle - Healthcare - Startups

Molly McFarland was born and raised in Wisconsin, where she inherited a passion for creativity. That and a love of television led her to study Broadcast and Electronic Communication at Marquette University in Milwaukee. In 2008, Molly’s career in entertainment marketing began at Sportsman Channel, where she rose through the ranks from leading a team of telemarketers, to leading network sales and marketing in the East region. By the time she left when the company was sold to legendary sports team owner and billionaire Stan Kroenke in 2015, Sportsman Channel, the formerly private equity-backed startup cable network that began in a rural Wisconsin garage, had grown to over 30 million households nationwide.

Upon relocating to Chicago in 2016, Molly worked in various roles as a freelance sales and marketing consultant and on-air talent for a number of Chicago-based agencies and television shows. In 2017, she joined the leadership team at Great Lakes Dental Partners, a Shore Capital Partners company, where she led all marketing and patient experience initiatives for the 24-location group. In 2020, Molly was thrilled to return to the media world as Director of Ad Sales Marketing for Outdoor Sportsman Group, part of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.

Molly has worked with high-profile clients and partners, including brands like Xfinity, DirecTV, DISH Network, French’s, and Stanley, to name a few. From home-based businesses to Fortune 500 companies, and everything in between, Molly has grown businesses’ revenue and EBITDA with a strategic yet creative approach to marketing. She believes everything is marketing, marketing is everything, and advertising is our greatest art form. With a keen eye for design and a constant focus on the bottom line, Molly’s approach to growth is holistic, agile, and measurable. Molly is passionate about helping edgy brands, disruptors, and female-led businesses surpass their goals, with a smile on her face and a few corny dad jokes at the ready.

Molly currently lives in downtown Chicago with her husband and son, where they enjoy exploring the city’s entertainment and culinary scenes. In her free time, Molly loves to spend time walking around the Windy City, singing to the Trolls soundtrack with her son, cooking spicy food, and watching true crime shows.
